Terms of Use
What the numbers on this site are, what you own at the end, and the two things nobody in this business can promise.
This site is published by Lonstern LLC (“LONSTERN”, “we”). Using it means the rest of this page applies. Questions go to leon@lonstern.com.
The prices are the prices
Every figure printed beside a product is what that product costs, not a starting point for a negotiation and not a figure that becomes larger after a call. Where a price says from, the scope that sets it is written on the same page. If a job falls outside a published scope we say so before any work starts, in writing, with the number.
Prices can change for future work. A price you were quoted in writing holds for that work.
The calculators and the figures
Several pages add up what you are paying now and what owning the same thing would cost. Those totals are arithmetic on the numbers you enter. They are an estimate for your own decision, not an offer, an appraisal, or financial advice, and we do not see them: they stay in your browser.
Where the site prints figures from real work, they are build figures and running costs, which are ours to publish and checkable. Figures that belong to a client, such as their revenue, are absent rather than estimated.
What you own
Ownership here is not a promise about intent, it is where the accounts sit. The repository, the hosting, the domain and the analytics are registered to you or transferred to you, and the source is delivered with them. That means nothing here can be switched off from our side, because there is no switch on our side to begin with.
Tooling that was already ours before your project, and that we reuse across clients, stays ours. It never sits between you and anything you depend on: remove us tomorrow and what you have keeps running unchanged.
What is on this site
The text, layout, drawings and figures here belong to us. Read them, quote them, send them to your accountant. Do not republish a page as your own.
Other companies’ names, marks and screenshots appear on this site because the argument is about them: what a tool costs, what a page says, what a search result returns. They belong to their owners, their appearance here is comment and comparison, and it does not mean any of them endorses or is affiliated with us.
What nobody can promise
Two things, and they are on the service pages as well as here. Nobody controls what a search engine or an AI assistant returns, and nobody who tells you otherwise can show you the switch. And no build makes a business grow on its own: it removes the reasons a customer leaves, and the rest is the business.
So we do not promise rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, or a position in anybody’s answer. We promise scope, a date and a price, and those we hold to.
Liability
This site is information. If something on it is wrong, tell us and we will fix it, but decisions you take from reading it are yours. Where work is done under a written agreement, that agreement governs it, and it says what we are responsible for.
Changes
If these terms change, this page changes, and the date below moves with it.
